Vintage wedding photography. A wedding party changes a limousine flat tire while the bride sit and looks out the window. Army Trail Road in Bloomingdale, IL. 1978 LADY IN WAITNG I didn’t know at the time, but this would be my introduction to candid wedding photography! An early newspaper career highlight of mine, my bride Penny and I drove by this situation and she suggested that it would be a good picture to make. The rest is history : ) (A thank you to Chuck Jonak for titling it.) My newspaper publisher didn’t like the picture, why? No names. He was right.
